Staying small is the strategy.

SocialOpp is set up as a four-person studio. We didn't build it to grow into another agency.

Why we're not scaling headcount.

The agency pattern

Agencies grow by adding bodies, then adding clients to justify those bodies. The work gets distributed to whoever has capacity that week. The senior people who pitched you end up approving decks instead of running the account.

The SocialOpp model

We wanted something different. Four people, three services, full attention on every client. When we eventually add a fifth person, it'll be a senior with their own track record leading a new discipline — not a junior covering up missing hours.

Here's everyone.

A founder-led team means the service owner is visible, accountable, and close to the actual work.

We're picky about who we work with.

We work best when the product, category, and founder involvement are already in place.

We're a strong fit if

  • Your D2C brand is past ₹25L per month, or you're funded and pushing toward that mark.
  • You want senior input on every meeting instead of a project manager relaying it.
  • Your category sits within clothing, F&B, or adjacent consumer goods.
  • You're comfortable working with founders directly, without layers.

We're not a fit if

  • Your brand is pre-product or pre-revenue.
  • You're looking for a managed-service relationship with minimal involvement.
  • You sell B2B software, local services, or anything outside consumer D2C.

Five rules we won't break.

The principles are intentionally direct because the operating model depends on trust before scale.

  1. We won't take on a client we don't believe we can move forward.
  2. We won't sign two brands competing in the same sub-category.
  3. We won't charge for strategy decks that nobody is going to read.
  4. We won't position ourselves as experts in a category where we haven't shipped.
  5. We won't hide concerns from a founder to protect a contract.
